Recommended Program: MERT

Medical Emergency Response Team, or MERT, is the term used in the
Emergency Care field to define EMS responders in both the Corporate and Industrial Sectors.
The concept behind MERT is to form a dedicated group, to respond when necessary
to a variety of situations within a company or facility. Team members
will pull existing resources from within a facility to manage an Emergency until
the arrival of Police, Fire or Emergency Rescue personnel.
